Advent Calendar 2025 - Day 1

Happy December 1st, friends!

Today we launched our super exciting beer calendar — and yes, we had a few website gremlins. Throughout the day, you might have seen MERI listed as the first beer when it was actually supposed to be our newly released Steve Brewschemi! But don’t fret — everything seems to be working now and we’re officially back on track.

Each morning we’ll drop a little hint about that day’s beer so you can guess along with us. 😊

So let’s get going:

The beer for tonight is… Steve Brewschemi!

One fun thing about this beer: it actually has a sibling. Our brewer came to us wanting to make two sours using the same base — one finished with fruit, and one finished with hops. Steve Brewschemi is the fruited one, loaded up with plums, cherries, and black currant purée. We packed so much fruit into it that when we tapped the very first keg, it poured as thick as a smoothie. We'll tell you in a few days whose it's sibling (unless you already know :))

If you are wondering about the name too - we should give all the credit to our brewer Tayt. He wanted a play on words for Steve Buscemi and we the design and the name are a perfect match for this sour fruited excellent beer.
